(SOLD) C&R Browning B-2000 shotgun, 12ga, 1974, Belgium & Portugal

**SOLD**: Browning B-2000 aka Browning model 2000

12 ga, 2 3/4" shells, one 28" barrel, improved cylinder choke, **apparently the Browning manual has a print error, and this is actually a modified choke. Thanks to the guys on this thread for pointing that out.
Made in Belgium & Assembled Portugal, see photo.
It's very clean. A handful of very minor tiny cosmetic wear on the stock. A few very light feather scuffs on the receiver.
Skeet stock with great condition Pachmayr White Line pad.
Approx 115,000 imported (approx 95,000 in 12 ga., and 20,000 in 20 ga.) in the US between 1974-1983.

Serial # is followed by "C47", meaning 12ga built in 1974 per Browning website. So 50 years old as of 2024 = C&R.

I investigated the BB price and made an appropriate correction. Price updated.
Old label on the case says $899, not sure if someone actually ever paid that much for this set.

Yes. Per manual and barrel markings **, it's improved cylinder.

Can you post a pic of the choke marks? ** is mod, **-- is IC.

Manual at that link says ** for IC. Page 33

From the owners manual page 33 I can see why you would think that, but there is a misalignment in the books printing. You can see the __ that belongs to the IC's ** under the $ for the skeet barrel. Thanks for sharing this. FYI any buyers, the choke may very well be "modified" instead of "IC".
