28" with poly choke Barrel no dents or rust bore mirror bright
Blueing only slight wear from carrying, top of barrel at receiver otherwise really nice everywhere else.it has the feel of very little use.

Please clarify. Is the receiver marked "sweet 16"?

The sweet 16 had a gold plated trigger and weighs around 61/2 pounds. The others weight around 71/2 lbs.
Some 16 were made with 3 inch chambers but not the "sweet". Also if the shotgun was a prewar make it would have a 29/16 chamber.

If the serial number is X147xx it is from 1948 and could be a 2 3/4 chamber.
Early Sweet Sixteens were unmarked. This looks like a nice gun.
