Sadly, he probably won't be getting his firearm back.

Yes. Why would it not be surprising?

Because it's a daily happening in pierce co?
This just one that got to print.
Within one year,in my neighborhood of Manitou,a 16yo kid was killed 50 yards from my house,2 families were shooting each other about the same distance from my next place 1 mile away and a woman who had just, like hands were damp from the sink, just, shot her husband in the back of the head,in his wheel chair, was walking around in front of my place.

Every day BS ,which is why I don't even visit my friends down there any more

Naw, didn't really take to it, busy watching food network. ;)

I think the fix is more CCW permit holders.

Not really as you can't legally shoot at someone if they're running away even if they took your goods. If they're coming at you and are a threat then maybe it's legal, but you'll still end up in court.

Its the same old story. You need to be able to truthfully tell the Grand Jury that you feared for your life and had to shoot to protect yourself. If the evidence backs you up a trial usually will be avoided.

Anything other than that and you will need to open your wallet and hire a good lawyer and get ready for the DA to put you through the wringer. Cowboys get to ride the judicial system circuit.

Yeah shooting somebody over an iphone is ridiculous. He should have shot the guy when he pulled the knife, not while the guy is running away.

It makes me wonder about the specifics of their transaction. For something as small as an iPhone, why not meet inside a busy Starbucks? Plenty of witnesses, probably a surveillance camera, much less likely bad guy will try a robbery there. I've used Craigslist to great success but you have to take a few precautions on where and when you meet.

As full caliber said, precautions where you meet, there was a similar craigslist robery in the battleground area last week or week before.
