Business have money to invest, those that don't save it buy new washers, dryers, cars, clothes, bicycles, GUNS, etc. That creates jobs in sales and eventually in manufacturing. That increases the tax base and therefore, tax revenue. It also reduces the unemployment rolls, fewer on food stamps, fewer in poverty, therefore less spent in social welfare. Rebuild the Military and refund NASA. suddenly manufacturing demands from contractors who support those entities start hiring. I think you get the idea...

The rich move their money into tax shelters, the businesses pass the tax onto those who buy their products and services, the poor and middle class take it in the pants. A tax increase on the rich and business is an indirect tax on consumers, destroys jobs and is counter productive. It always has been.

None of this will do any good if you don't cut spending.
End all foreign aid NOW.We need to get our house in order first.
Start embargoes on foreign good and take away tax incentive for manufactures that are building plants in other counties.
Give the same manufacturers incentives and tax breaks to build plants in this country.
If we don't have work for more people.all the tax BS means nothing.

How about bring jobs back to the USA and build enough of a tax base that will justifying some change.

You tax businesses and they just raise prices to pay them. What good have you done?

We have to bring manufacturing back to the US.We do have all the workers here.Or at least if they are going to let illegals in,they will have a job.
Then stop the welfare and such and make those people go to work in the factories or go hungry

End all subsidies to rural counties and states that take in more tax dollars than they give out.

End all farm subsidies.

Tax on a local level, for local spending.

Cut funding to the army, usn, usaf, usmc, fbi, cia, nsa, atf.

Sorry for the bad news but it's far worse. The 14T doesn't cover unfunded liabilities, Medicare is 40T in the red, SS 20T, cities and states promise to pay public employees retirement that equals 100% of their last years income for life, etc. Total public debt is over 120 Trillion.

Absolutely correct. We have the worst financial statement by far of any nation on the planet. While people are so concerned about Greece and Spain, they don't realize that we are much worse financially. The ONLY thing that is propping up our fake economy is that the dollar is the global reserve currency. We are desperately trying to keep it that way (infiltrating Syria, soon bombing Iran, WWII, little things like that) but we won't be able to keep it that way indefinitely.

Other countries like Russia and China are finally figuring out the Ponzi scam that we started in 1971. Money printing backed by nothing. They send us Saiga 12s and DVD players, we send them little worthless slips of paper.

In the global economy we are the Caboose; we are the parasites; soon that knowledge will be global and the 5% that use 50% of the world's energy and resources will suffer a reality check and a drastic standard of living decline.

Yep. Even with the lower/fake debt numbers if everyone in the USA paid 100% of their income in taxes is would take over 22 years to pay off the debt.
