300 blackout pistol build for discreet carry in public. The brake is getting ditched for a thread protector on order, the elfman trigger was sitting around and wont work with 45 degree safeties safely so used a bad 90 degree for now. Going with a geisselle ssa-e.

Added a couple large pull tabs to the zippers on the briefcase for easier use. Basically done now.

I like it. Why 300 and not 556? Just curious I notice allot of people building pistols in 300 lately. I have never shot 300bo to compare.

The 300 runs fine on just about any barrel length . My 7 inch 300BO SBR is as reliable as anything I own.

A 7 inch .223 is a real crapshoot for reliability and is hell on silencer baffles..

I was thinking of adding one of those law tactical folders to my AR pistol. Sure does make it a small package, yet readily at hand.

What's it add to your cheek rest 1 & 1/2" or so?

1.5" depending on endplate. Nice thing with the kak buffer is it has locking points all the way down to lock the blade in a stable position with about 4-5" of adjustment area, plus won't roll like a Sig brace.

Yeah but they fit real nice with the stock folded under the back seat of the F150 when the other side is taken up by the subwoofer.

It's a pistol not an sbr, thats a stabilizing fin not a stock. Similar to the Sig brace.

Yeah I hear ya. They pop up from time to time in the classifieds. Last time I pm'd the seller same day & I was allready 3rd in line.

They hold there value, and would likely add value to an instal, so I might just buy new.

Occasionally Brownells puts those folders on sale. Thinking about it for a few builds, but IIRC it's about 1.5-2" added to LOP and I'm not sure how many stocks get down to 9" LOP to make room for it with my stubby little would-lose-armwrestling-a-T-rex arms. LOL
