    I think they are great my boy made me one in shop class. I think that is a cool way for your patient to keep going. Does he sell them? If he does how much? I would be interested!!!!!!!

    trench art. a variation of them goes back to WWI when bored soldiers made small items from what they could find to send home.

    I have a couple of pen knives made from M2 Ball Ammo. Where the little blade has been inset and soldered into the bottom of the bullet so when you want o use the blade you pull the bullet flip it around and reinsert it back into the neck of the case leaving the little blade sticking out.

    Some of the work was quite artistic. I would assume over the years this man has seen a number of that kind of craftwork.
