Brady campaign rates all 50 states policies on gun control

The latest Brady Campaign ratings for states, oddly we didn't fare to well, but obviously not bad either.

The part that is scary however is...
"Recording keeping and retention" 2 points OR
"Report records to the state and retain records" 2 points OR

WTF we retain records, i thought they were supposed to be destroyed in 24 hours?

Its also odd that they dont' rate states based on what NFA items people are allowed to have.

Form 4473 is retained by the FFL for a number of years and the state pistol form is retained by the state.
