I attempted to forward mount a BSA dot RMDS on both a M-l Garand and
a Carbine. In order to pick up the dot, my head has to be raised to where
my chin is level with the stock comb top. Tried the following attempting
to use the scout type forward mount. Used a 3/4" riser, and both a high
and low set of rings with negative results. Finally I mounted a BSA 2 to 7
Pistol scope that works great. Not a clue as the use of the dot without
a serious stock comb raise, or a mount over the action that I don't want to
do as it would mean alteration to the rifles. The other downside is I know
nothing of this type of dot sight, and there is no information that came with
it. Get along with BSA and Simmons scopes just fine without problems and
own several:)

I love it when cheap stuff works. All those shot groups were excellent and lethal.
I have no ambition to become an exhibition shooter or sniper; cheap is good enough for me.
