    BREAKING: Border Patrol commissioner leaving; Lieberman blasts process

    Alan D. Bersin, commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, today announced that he is stepping down Dec. 30 from a position he has held since March 2010, but while his departure is being portrayed as a resignation, he is essentially being “term limited” according to sources on Capitol Hill.
