Anyone read this one yet?

It's an action adventure novel written by PDX area author, Jim McCulloch, who gets all the firearm related material correct! He must be an old guy because he obviously favors the 1911 and appears to know how to use it :) Then there’s that Mini-14 stuff, but the story is set in the 1980’s when AR’s were not so readily available to people without a lot of cash and Mini’s were still cool.

Fracture Gradient is about an alternative energy discovery that scares the bejeebers out of the energy industry and OPEC, and baffles the US government. Lots of action and a good inside look at how the oil industry might react to such a find . . . or may have already reacted.

It’s on Amazon at Amazon.com: Fracture Gradient (9780985774509): Jim McCulloch: Books
and on the author’s website at Jim McCulloch | Author of the fiery action thriller, Fracture Gradient

I think you’ll like it.

Minis are still cool! Only now you need a lot of cash for them as well.
