Bob Saget Passes away!

Saget was running from his nice guy image.

Was very hard to watch is very foul stand up.

I saw his stand-up routine in the mid-80s. He was not Mr. Clean even then. If you can find it, he was featured in a program called "Young Comedian's Special" (ca. 1983) that was on national TV. His routine was borderline raunchy. He was funny, but it was definitely adult humor.

I don't know how he got the Mr. Nice Guy image. While he was involved in production of the "Full House" series, there were allegations of his inappropriate off-camera behavior in front of the child co-stars.

So, when I heard his family had filed a lawsuit to block release of information related to his death, because they were worried about how it would affect his image, I was not surprised.

“No legitimate public interest would be served by the release or dissemination of the records to the public,” said the lawsuit by Saget’s family.
