HB 4145, the Bloomberg/Brown gun confiscation bill has passed the Oregon House and is now in the Senate.

As you know, three House Republicans joined the Bloomberg funded Democrats to pass this dangerous bill.
They were :

Knute Buehler ,(who wants to be your next governor,)

Richard Vial and

Julie Parrish.

We expect the Senate Judiciary Committee, chaired by rabid anti-gun extremist Floyd Prozanski, to pass the bill out of committee over the objections of the Republican members. Given the speed at which bad bills are racing through the legislature, we believe this will happen very fast.

As it is we cant even count on republicans here in the State or Oregon to vote pro 2nd amendment. I believe the last few anti gun measures have been put forward, at least partially, by Republicans.

They are required to, as this is a short legislative session reserved for finances. Anything else has to be of an urgent and dire need, so rest assured it'll be another fake emergency...

Most of this won't effect this generation, but they'll keep demonizing guns and gun owners. Their goals are wide open for display, yet when they had all 3 branches of Gov they did nothing...wonder why? They didn't dare because they wanted to get re-elected. America is still a Center-right country. IMO

Let's see what happens in Washington, D.C. over the coming months with respect to gun rights and mental health... I'm quickly becoming a pessimist, unfortunately...

I'm 75 and I never thought that I would be grateful that I don't have 50 more years to endure the crap this country has become. It will get worse and slowly the changes will come. born and raised in Indiana PA, (home of Jimmy Stewart) I figure we peaked in the '60's.
