Nothing political this time around (though some recent ones have been) - just got my March 2009 Guns & Ammo magazine in, and I did a quick review on it... highlight is the new Ruger LCR... (IMO at least - YMMV)

I wanted to check out the LCR at the portland gun show. Guy at keith's said there was a recall ? I like the concept of light wt. .38sp easy carry for summer.

Seems hard to believe there'd already be a recall - maybe a production delay? Regardless, I want to check it out as well - has more punch than my Kel-tec that's for sure...

I like the Kel-tec P3-AT. I carry as small as 22 mag sometimes, better than a sword.

Might have heard the guy wrong about the recall of the LCR- no ear protection in the nam. Hope I'm wrong.

Yes, there was a recall of all Ruger LCPs last year. Now, from what I read on another (honest) expert board there is a SECOND recall coming. Apparently, all of the new demo guns at the recent SHOT show had to be removed due to broken firing pins from dry-fire......................elsullo
