A barrel wedge is needed...
Do you have a :
1851 Navy
1860 Army
or a 1861 Navy...
There is no "1860 Navy".

The wedge is specific to each model....with that said...some fitting (filing of the wedge pin ) may be needed...
When you order a replacement.
Dixie Gun Works , The Gun Works , Thrack of the Wolf....all have 'em.

Hmmm...
The so called 1858 is a Remington design and has a top strap on the frame....
Colt percussion revolvers...do not have a top strap...so they shouldn't look just alike....
Can you post a picture please...?
Andy

Edit to add :
Many times...the modern "sales name " of the model revolver / firearm , is not historically correct...so that can add to some confusion.
Especially if it is me...as I have both original and replica muzzle loaders....

Ahhh...
You have what is commonly called a "1858 Remington Revolver"...
If it is the Army model....it will be in .44 caliber...If it is the Navy revolver it is in .36 caliber.

Historically these were not called the "1858 or whatever year you care to name , Remington "
They were called the Remington Army or Remington Navy depending on caliber.
( Or New Model Army / New Model Navy )

From the picture...I can't see anything missing.....
Andy

At times the modern sales name / or what a replica firearm is called / named today...is not historically correct.
Historically , Army revolvers were .44 caliber...and Navy revolvers were .36 caliber.
