Well to be real picky...
None of the original muzzleloading firearms that I own have a "Barrel Shroud".
( And I do own a few... )
Most of the common Musket replicas and reproductions do not either.

I do get the humor in the first post mentioning the infamous "Barrel Shroud."

That stated , the proposed bill is worthless in regards for "safety".
It does nothing to prevent or deter crime.
it might even make more criminals thru otherwise law abiding folks not complying with said law...

Obviously common sense, logical thinking and facts are not part of this kind of legislation. It truly is about control. As more time passes, we gather more and more evidence that these laws do NOTHING to prevent, deter or lessen crime.

It is my hope that more Americans are waking up to this fact and will rebel against politicians and groups that fight against guns - and punish them by removing them from office. Could it happen? Well, 6 months ago, many folks thought Trump could never be President - never say never.
