ORLANDO, FLORIDA – -(Ammoland.com)- Black Aces Tactical (BAT), which recently took the gun world by storm with the release of its groundbreaking short barrel 12-guage DT model, is announcing the weapon’s availability at Shoot Straight Stores throughout Florida.

Earlier this year, American manufacturer BAT released the brand’s new DT shotgun featuring an 8.5″ barrel, SIG SB15 brace, 27″ OAL, Magpul RVG forward grip, 10-round BAT stick magazine, and optional folding brace or rail add-on.

Just in time for Christmas, BAT’s DT is now stocked at eight Shoot Straight locations including stores in Apopka, Casselberry, Clearwater, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Lakeland, Tampa and West Palm Beach. Customers in the Southeast have an opportunity to view the weapon in person before purchase, and without having to wait for a custom order direct from the manufacturer.

“We are thrilled to work with Shoot Straight, one of the top and most respected gun dealers in the country,” said Black Aces Tactical owner and CEO Eric Lemoine. “For our fans, the availability of BAT’s unique DT model in stores is an added benefit, as they can simply walk into any Shoot Straight location and see for themselves the precision in which this weapon is made, hold it in their hands, and take it home for Christmas.”

The DT Model is the highest quality short barrel available on the market, as it is not cut and welded. However, each integral component associated with shortening the barrel is done with billet materials, which have tolerances down to 1/1000th of an inch. The barrel clamp features a locking taper design that retains the OEM appearance and takedown screw. The action block is machined on five sides to allow the Magpul RVG hand grip to be able to be located left, right or center of the two 45 degree locations.

The model does not require any stamps, nor is it considered a short barreled shotgun under the NFA, or an AOW.
It is classified strictly as a “firearm,” which means a customer can purchase it from the dealer without months of wait time. In fact, the weapon includes copies of all associated ATF letters, as well as a copy of 27 cfr 479.11, page 89, which outlines the method of obtaining overall length. The addition of the SB15 SIG brace takes the DT Model above and beyond standard AOW 12-gauges. The proper use of the SB15 brace transforms a 12-gauge from wayward and difficult to control to stabilized and precise.

The DT model comes in a top quality MIL-A-8625 Type 3 hardcoat and can be customized in a variety of Cerakote color options.

Since 1979, Shoot Straight has grown to be among the top one percent of all firearms dealers in the nation and is the largest gun store chain and dealer in Florida, a state that ranks No. 3 in concealed weapon permits. Shoot Straight stocks and sells more guns than any other retailer in the Southeast, and now included Black Aces Tactical in its inventory. Black Aces Tactical is a weapons manufacturing company based in Central Florida that is dedicated to providing the customer an heirloom quality, hand-finished shotgun at a reasonable price. All BAT weapons are made in America and come with a lifetime warranty, and each BAT shotgun receiver, internal, and magazine are custom built and machined. BAT’s expanding line includes nearly two dozen weapons and range in price from $499 to $1,825. The company holds three patents with a fourth pending. Did you copy this article from Ammoland??
You should state that if you did. Its well writen if you did write it.
I have a black aces tactical model: pro series 9. If I had to do it over again I probably would have got another saiga12, Zenith Mp5 clone, or Arsenal 107. Its not the best shotgun, I was under the understanding they use standard saiga12 mags that is not the case , they use modified saiga12 mags that go for $50 for a 10rd mag. The AR stock conversion kit made by ATI is garbage and mine broke the first day of use. If you want a cool shotgun get a mossberg500 or remington870 and trick it out to the max, mesa tactical vang comp breacher barrel tons of quality aftermarket parts to make them work like a dream. The short barrel on the B.A.T. doesnt make it worth the money...

Its fun to shoot 55gallon drums full of water with 00 buck from 10ft away. They empty so quickly!
The powder residue on your hand after a few round is a shocker.
They take heavy gun oil which I havent found yet... kinda spendy... wish I could have fired one before I made my purchase. I probably would have gotten something different like a .50bmg upper for my AR15.

You forgot to add that prolonged usage of this shotgun will require a person to get a hearing aid in 5 years, and get also get shoulder replacement surgery after 10 years.

Kick is minimal, I always use hearing and eye protection when shooting. Id advise gloves for this because of the gun powder residue on your pointer and middle after a few shots. :)
