LOL, I would attempt to make my own (and would probably succeed) for less than $250. Mine may not be as "high-tech" or quite so light, but it would be very close to the dismantled size of that.

My good friend recommended the green blob bipod. After buying it myself and using it a couple times it has my stamp of approval. For the price it is good to go. Buying the rubber washer is definitely a necessity. All that entails is a trip to home depot and 20 second install.

Did he install on the top or bottom? what kind (rubber vs nylon) & size of o ring

i understand harris.....I have one on my.30-06.....been fine but springy...seems cheap to me

@MasterChief1 Between the nut and saddle. See pic Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet . Not a bad looking bipod either IMO.

I picked up a pack of 1" O.D. x 3/4" I.D. x 1/8" whatever that means. I honesty am the wrong person to ask about what would be best suited. Was in a bit of a rush at home depot so I picked up the first thing that fit the bill and this has worked.
