In Missouri? That should sink like the ill-conceived stone it resembles.

LOL. Cracks me up. Do these people think this can actually fly, in MO ?

Actually a little scary how disconnected they are with the people they represent.

Any doubt now that this is being coordinated behind the scenes by the Administration? Do you wonder why Obama just had a "huddle" with Democrats about pushing this agenda? They are going to try to keep his fingerprints off it by going state-by-state. Any surprise this bill in Missouri looks so similar to the one in New York? Now think how much further to the left Oregon and Washington are than Missouri. Just watch for the same basic bill framework to be introduced here very soon.

I could talk to my lawyer. I got in some legal trouble last year and picked a lawyer who also happens to be House Minority Whip of the Missouri state Legislature (Not a felony or violent misdemeanor so I can still own firearms). He's a Democrat and knows I'm a Democrat so I got a little sway with him, plus he's my employee right now. I could lobby him from my phone with a text to his phone not to bring that bill up for a vote.

What kind of morons live in MO anyway. So much for the show me state I guess they have to see it to believe it.

MO is a great state. For one, we got the cheapest cigarettes in the whole country, short of duty free. We really don't like regulations on virtually everything, it is the epitome of a "small government" state. Im within a short drive of like 5 casino's where Im sitting right now, our alcohol laws are lax due to Budweiser setting up shop in this state, we're always the last state to make our DWI laws stricter and only do it because the Federal government holds our highway funds hostage if we don't.

Right now I can load a couple magazines, put my handgun in my glovebox and go for a drive within the state, and break no laws doing so, without a CCW or any other firearms license required. This is a great state, if you like the government keeping its nose out of your business.

I had a MR2 Turbo, I took the catylitic converter off of it since it made the turbo spool up a lot slower. Such a "crime" would be like $2000 in fines in California, no such thing in Missouri, actually our Pre-1996 cars don't even require emissions testing at all anymore.

No personhood bills to reduce women's access to abortion in this state, which is great for keeping the government out of our day-day lives in Missouri.

As someone said, that bill although introduced, will sink like the "ill-conceived stone" that it is. Just because a bill is introduced, doesn't mean it stands more than a snowballs chance in hell of passing in this state. And for a Democrat, even Republicans would have to agree that Jay Nixon is a pretty good governor in this state.

Maybe that "show me" aspect of the state motto is what got jimmy in trouble in the first place... ;)

I think you're just jealous cuz u gotta pay a bubblegum ton for cigarettes or drive to the border.

Obviously you prefer big governments over my small government style state since you don't like Missouri. You're probably a liberal.

What I posted when I saw this on facebook:

This looks to be an "ex post facto" law. The Constitution clearly states that the feds (clause 3 Art. 1 Sec 9) and the states (clause 1 Art. 1 Sec 10) can not enact such laws. It lacks any form of compensation for the owners' property. Buyback or not, this action is treasonous at a minimum.

Through his lens he does not know the difference between big and small gov. Go ahead you trust his judgement, he has shown many times here he lacks it. You are defending what? Really what? BY the way jimmy I don't smoke never have great assumption. BLa Bla Bla back to the beginning.:laugh:

Now this stuff might fly in St. Louis and its suburbs, but my friends in SW MO, in the Ozarks have a question for them:

"What was that you were gonna come take from us?"

    seccession-3-e1357056412895.jpg

There are still places in the Ozarks where the feds don't go alone.

It's a good thing Oregon isn't judged because of the likes of Sam Adams and Gini Burdick.

They know this bill has no change of passing at this moment in time. This is a coordinated attack thinking long term. There desensitizing people who dont think for themselves. Watch confiscation of firearms is going to be a "common sense" thing. When people don't think for themselves when they hear or read things enough times they believe it.

Look at the "assault weapons ban" there are all sorts of new terms poping up.

    "assault clip"
    "assault pistol"
    "assault magizine"
bolt action rifles being referred to as "sniper rifles"
In cali there trying to define a "assault weapon" as any semi auto.

Here is the media's game plan.

Put "assault" in front of what ever you want to ban, and follow it with "common sense". Say it enough times and people will believe it.

All of these confiscation bills at this momement in time are three things. One a distraction for pro gun supporters. Focus on the real threats an AWB, mag limits, and universal backround checks. Two a way to make the left look like there compromising. Three desensitization of confiscation.

I believe the confiscation bill in Cali will not pass, and the Dems have the super majority. If I'm wrong and it does its on a fast track to the supreme court.
