I've got an FV-SR and a Ruger SR-22 pistol with a threaded barrel.
I'm shooting CCI-quite ammo out of the FV-SR low noise and works well on close range pests.

I have a SS Sparrow too. It's like magic on the FV-SR. I've also hosted it with a Browning Buckmark and a M&P 22. Both were pretty quiet with federal bulk ammo and ran flawlessly. I think the buck mark with the tacsol 4" barrel is a little more accurate than the M&P, but the M&P will cycle better and eats everything I feed it. Plus it looks cool with the sparrow on it.

The Ruger 22/45 threaded has a lot of happy users. the Sparrow and Spectre II look like they were built for it.
