Any experience with brands? For some reason Gemtech stands out in my mind.

For something that I have to pay a $200 tax on, I want the best so that my investment is worthwhile.

OK- for a 9mm I love my SWR trident. Love it.

Dealers- Pat at ORL, Fort Moe or Coctailer are all excellent.

Here's another question I forgot to ask:

From the apparent 20-30db sound reduction, is it even worth the time and effort to get a suppressor?

Are suppressors for pistols worth it?

all suppressors excluding rimfires ( but sometimes including ) will have not a lot of sound reduction unless they are shot wet and with subsonic ammo.

My Trident is probably by far my favorite suppressor I own. IMHO it gives some of the best real world difference.

The best is SWR, but good god I wish they could hurry up....because it took nearly 6 months to get a can from SWR.

I love them to death but 6 months.. come on...man......

But ya gotta remember dude that everyday another 50 people discover the beauty of NFA and it gets harder and harder as the few that out there disappears fast.

So if you see it, GET IT.
