Beretta PX4 .45 ACP

I'm thinking about buying an Italian made Beretta PX4 .45 ACP. I can pick up a new one locally for $495. Does anyone have experince with these? It seems like a pretty cool gun for the price.

If I'm not hijacking the thread... how does the PX4 45 compare with the SA XD 45? Magazine capacity, trigger feel/quality...? Just curious why anyone would buy one over the other.
