My boy wants to get a p22, that is the only trade I really am wanting to make not really wanting to "sell" the Beretta.

Have you considered the Sig Mosquito? My boys have had the P22, but preferred the Mosquito. Both are about the same price.

Fisherman's Marine in the Oregon City shopping center has both and takes trades. It seems they give 70% of current book value on trade-ins, and 60% if you want cash.
