Benelli Nova vs. 970

Looking for a basic HD shotgun. Thought I had the 970 all picked out but came accross a Benelli Nova that I liked a lot. Any reason NOT to go with the Benelli?

It was only $50 more and had a peep sight I liked, a little more ergonomic grip and the ability to unload the barrel without having to unload the entire tube.

Get the Nova. It is kinda funny looking but you will love it. It is the same Benelli quality you get in their more expensive guns. There isn't much aftermarket support for the Nova but all it needs is a softer recoil pad. Limbsaver makes a nice one.

I have a benelli nova nickel plated 12ga. and it is very well made and will last y lifetime.
