I am needing to sell me Shotgun. My son was born on dec. 27 and is doing great, however my wife is on bed rest for the new few weeks at least. I am a commercial fisherman/crabber who had to take time off of to take care of her, so I pretty much lost my job two weeks ago when I had to stay home. I am not intending this to be a sob story, I just want to pay the bills. It is in excellent condition with a replacement mag tube (Pretty sure it is Titanium, but I cannot find the receipt), and Also a "Dead Coyote" choke tube. It would pass for new except it has one extremely light rub mark on the receiver(won't show in pics) and some paint/drywall on the top of the ears on the front sight from leaning up against the wall next to the bed. Mine is a pistol grip with fixed stock. Asking SPF which I think is pretty fair considering they are going for a lot more on auction sites. Also I am not able to travel much if at all right now so either you need to drive or we can work out shipping.
What does "SPF" stand for?....always thought it was "sold pending funds." Suddenly it's popping up everywhere there should be a price..
I don't see what's so confusing here. The dude got an offer for his shotgun, so he edited the ad to say SPF (Sold Pending Funding) so folks would know it was spoken for. However, he doesn't have the money in his hot little hand yet, so he has left the ad open with the edit until the deal culminates, and then he can close the ad WHEN HE ACTUALLY HAS THE MONEY. Nice Shotgun.
It's just more of the way he worded it. The ad now says "ASKING SPF". If the item is sold, close it or update the post.
It's been SPF for a couple of weeks now. I would hope that they have closed that deal by now. why is this still up?
