I believe in WA.... it's is also legal to purchase AND CARRY if active (or retired) LEO or military, with proper credentials. Not positive.

I'm fairly sure you can buy them in WA - you just can't leave your house with it legally.

Even possession is illegal, can't even own unless you are LE/first responder.
