Bellevue SWAT BearCat

    Bellevue SWAT is going to have their new BearCat armored vehicle at Bellevue Square Mall this saturday to show it off. It'll be parked out front on Bellevue Way by the Red Robin and main fountain. It'll be open to climb in/check out/get your picture taken by. They'll be outside rain or shine from 12-8 in full gear to raise money for Special Olympics. They'll also have entry tools and possibly other toys (their new 416's?) on display, I'm going for sure!

    Obviously not their rig, but this is a BearCat...

    Ask them if they'll use this to assist in a no-knock raid on a tip that someone is in possession of marijuana.

    Lenco, yes. 550 chassis I believe.

    This is something they've needed for a long time, they previously would transport their SWAT guys around in an old converted bread truck.

    uh, yeah... its not really a tank... its just a delivery device for teams.

    I wonder if those are solid tires or if they have an on board compressor like a H1's system
