My 11 yr old needs a youth hunting rifle, something bigger than .223. I don't have the cash to spend, but I do have a couple classic .22s. I can send or post pictures and further details if there is any interest out there. Thanks

I am no expert, but I would rate the condintion as 7 out of 10. No major flaws or scratches, just minor signs of wear. Will try to post pictures this week. It is missing rear sight since my grandpa or dad put a scope on it.

It has a 13 inch LOP but all else is full size. Do you know where the rear sight is? Is the scope mount a cantilevered barrel mount or a grooved receiver mount?

Very cool piece of history, AND NIB! I think we are looking for a modern bolt action though. I would also hate to put any wear on a NIB classic. -Thanks!
