Yeah, I keep an image of a magazine ad selling the Mossberg 146B .22lr that I inherited from my dad. A priceless rifle! Makes a great screen saver!

Yep. Pre 86 you could form 1 your own FA gun for the price of a stamp. Or you could have purchased a new in box SWD M11-nine for $395 (plus the $200 tax stamp). Fast forward to the present. If you can find one now NIB, you could expect to see a price of $5000, or more.
