McMenamins has some old theaters around Portland and they sell beer n pizza, among other things.

It has been a while since I've been in an actual theater. I think it was to see The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy in the little, dingy, 19th or early 20th century-built theater in Condon, Oregon. No idea if they sold the brewskies, but I doubt it in that venue. Beyond that, I'm not aware of any law in the Beaver State that would make said offering verboten though.

In addition to Cinetopia, and McMenamins, there's The LaurelHurst, and I know the Regal on NW 185th has beer. Some place downtown used to sell beer too, not sure if they are still there.

Cinetopia is great but exspensive. Wife and I like the Academy in the Montavilla neighborhood.
Cheap movies. They serve beer and Flying Pie Pizza from next door. We like the Montavilla
neighborhood. Favorites are the Observatory (nice restaurant) and Roscoe's
(dive bar with great taps and happy hour specials).

Cornelius Theaters. Act V Theaters

I saw the Lego Movie with a beer in my hand and the theater full of kids.
(only way to deal with that many ... )

Or the Joy in Tigard ( 99W near Hall) The Joy Cinema and Pub
I saw Galaxy Quest there on Christmas when it opened back in the day.

St. Johns theater in, well, St. Johns, and the Hollywood theater in... the Hollywood district are my two favorites. Both have beer/wine/cider and pizza.

A lot of the regal cinemas has beer and wine now. I know the Oregon city one does and one of the Portland ones I have been to have also

Yeah, it's been awhile since I went to a movie theater. But when we did, just did what cmica suggests BYOB. Hopefully we looked a little better though. LOL! But yeah, old school BYOB. I mean, what are you, a grownup or something?
