Wow, what a poorly written article. The Sheriff's comments, which refer only to the passage of SB941 have nothing whatsoever to do with all the other gun laws on the books. The author is either completely uninformed and didn't do their research OR they are deliberately twisting the 'facts' to present a false version of the story. How did this loser get his gun in the first place? Was it a private FTF sale? If not, then the Sheriff's comments are a moot point as they only apply to SB941 related offenses. I am certain the Sheriff is completely in agreement with enforcing other gun laws that forbid a felon to posses a gun.

Unfortunately, the lame losers that are leaving many of the comments will never know the real truth, and they'll go on with their miserable lives, believing what the liars who write the stories tell them.

what is the sheriff supposed to do???? criminals DONT OBEY THE LAW anyway. this has nothing to do with the sheriffs stance on 941. ignorance and propaganda just kills me. people need to get educated and get their facts right.

the whole article is just click bait. saying something inflammatory to drive visits and advertising revenue. Just say "would this article be published in a respectable news paper 20 years ago?" If the answer is no, then avoid the whole site. The internet trolls found a way to make money.

The Left is not only attacking 2A this way, but using the same method against 1A for those millions of Americans who are shocked & appalled at Planned Parenthood's OWN ACTIONS of illegally selling human parts. And now they have enough dunces to start protesting/attacking civil law abiding human beings that dared open their mouth.

The Left wants total submission. No guns - No freedom of religion - No free speech - No privacy from government... on down the line of the Bill of Rights - in place to protect citizens from Government overreach.

I am wondering why they are not releasing the firearm info on the Planed Parenthood shooting.
Maybe there was no AK47 or extended mags? ATF is there and you would think if there was something Obama could use in his anti gun crusade, he would be doing so. In all the other mass shootings, they reported what firearms were used and how the shooter came in possession of them. So what makes this one hush hush?
