Most excellent. If I had to pick on cartridge I like the most, this would be the one. Works in revolvers, big automatic, an lever-guns. And provides so much ballistic excellence.

44Mag is a great cartridge, but in a strong action like my Henry I can roll my own .45 Colt to exceed even the vaunted .44. Not by much, mind you, just 45 Colt is a really nifty round to play with.
