I walked into a telephone pole head on, along Venice Beach one time. I was looking at a woman on rollerblades. I was sure I was in love right up until I hit the telephone pole.

I also wasn't paying attention walking through a birthing area on a ship one time, my buddy said something behind me and I turned around to look, but kept walking, turned back just in time to walk right into the top of the bulkhead hatch. Knocked myself right out.

That's why they call them headknockers and kneeknockers.

I play the game, I'm approaching 40. So there goes the "damn kids" argument.

I have a full time career, often working well over 40 hours a week. so there goes the "get a job" argument.

I still prepare, shoot, camp, work around the house etc. so there goes the "dis is jus distractin us from da reeeeell problems" jargon. Also, I'm about tired of real life so if I want to check out chasing fictitious cartoon animals as I go about my day, Ill do that. Thanks.

Is it a fad? absolutely. Will it fade? Absolutely.

Are there some people here that need to stop taking life so seriously? Without a doubt.
Awesome. I am pretty much the same. I maintain, pay for, and clean my house and property. I work hard and I'm going to play as hard as I want even if it means playing Pokemon.. But always, I keep God first.

Caught this while on my way to work today as a matter of fact. It just got real.

I am currently working on an game app called "Poke her, mon!" aka "Tap Dat & Go." You choose the Jamaican gigolo or hooker persona of your choice of all races/sexes. Your goal is to poke as many partners as possible while building up special defenses against STDs, prostitution stings, dishonest hoes, johns, madames, cougars, escorts, Sharia law, the local temperance union, mobs, gangs, the Hague and local LEOs and LE, etc.

Currently I am placing ads on craigslist for avatar models and caricature artists....

PS :eek:I fully expect this post to get me banned to the bubblegum now that I have read it.

After shooting over 90 rounds of .223 with my newly built AR-15 pistol, then stopping by the Shane's Rib Shack for some BBQ, I then went "hunting" in downtown Woodstock and came up with this new addition to my collection...

I also took over the gym downtown and got its Rep up to 16,000.

My entire day, not too bad, even then, was made incomparably better after watching a teen-age klutz, with his HUGE tablet-thing, walk straight off the riverside walkway and into the River Dee in Chester about a month ago.

Sadly, my camera was stowed away at the time, but I couldn't have taken a pic on account I was crying with laffment.

Is that good?

At least pokething gets folk out into the fresh air, walking around and so on, even if they can't see a thing around them [see my post above].

While at LegoLand and Sea World the other day, they had signs about "please look forward while playing PokeamanBlow.

The sign was large and unmistakable when you walked through the front gates. They had to remind people to keep out of restricted areas....

Not a pokeymon story, but it's only a matter of time before it is -

Around these parts, it sure takes some doing, because the railroads are all fenced off except for grade crossings, where the barriers are clearly visible, lit up and flash like crazy.

But one woman managed to walk right under a train passing through at 140mph.

This movie clip shows a vintage train a few years ago, at only 80mph....

I put this here because it's far more interesting to look at than anything modern could ever be - sorry 'bout that. ;)

She was on her cellphone y'see, and that call just couldn't wait.

I wonder what the person on the other end thought of it?

Congrats man;).

I have to admit, I'm going to download it... Between y'all, my family and some young people I do some volunteer work with I'm starting to feel like the only one not checking my phone for random spawns or whatever is going on.

I'm going to chock it up to staying informed with the kids culture and use it after my surgery to give me one more reason to get as much walking in as I can handle.

I'll let y'all know when I get it figured out and make it too level 2:p.

I believe you'll be glad you did! Since my job is an evening job doing mostly driving, I do have my app active while in the car. BUT, it's mainly for the purpose of hatching the eggs since that part requires "walking". As long as the app is active, during the times that I'm traveling slow enough, the app counts it toward the walking part. Even so, since getting this, instead of going home immediately after eating after I get off work, I'm more likely to stop in downtown Woodstock and literally walk around a few times while playing. There are also some other areas where I can drive to during those wee hours of the morning and capture Pokemon and also collect items at the PokeStops. Some of those areas are vacant parking lots while the stores are closed. So, be sure to check those out if there are any large malls/shopping centers in your area.

So, yes, it has encouraged me to do more walking than what I was accustomed to doing before. And, it does give me rep with my grandkids. :)
