BCG gas tube dent?

Need some help from experienced AR users. I ordered this BCG from Palmetto State Armory and received it in the mail the other day. When I opened the box, the tube the BCG comes in was missing it's cap and the BCG had fallen out of the protective tube. As you can see from the picture, the end of the gas tube is dented. My question is, will this still work and function safely? I'm sure I'll be sending it back to PSA but need a BCG for a shoot this weekend.

That looks like something that could be fixed with a hammer and round head brass screw. So long as the gas tube fits into the gas tube key it will function.
