BB Gun for my 11 yr old.

Looking to buy my son a BB gun for Christmas. Prefer something in a pump VS. CO2. Looking for something a bit nicer than the Crosman 760. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Really not interested in a pellet rifle for his first gun.

760 does shoot pellets in fact much better than bb's only single shot. Pretty good marksmanship training for a youngster. I put 1000's of both types of ammo through mine as a youth only ever wanted for less pumps / pumping related noise. Crossman's more expensive model seems to address these concerns without upping the ante too much. Only concern there is increased length of pull.
