I think this place is a great campground. So many sites, from in the sand and windy to back in the trees and protected. The showers are kept really clean. I didn't think much of having to pay for a shower when they're getting $20.00 per night, but the water is almost TOO hot. With the Barview Jetty store right there for beer, ice, food, fishing gear and info, and even fresh local oysters in the summer!

Barview is a great place. I've spent alot of my youth chilling out there with the girls. Not gonna say what we did on the picnic tables.

Guard your beer fellas. Its a Tillamook County institution/rite/tradition for the local kids to raid the beer coolers of the " tourists " at Barview. Jetty fishing is good if your into that.

Prices have gone up. Most sites run almost $27 / night, still pay to play for showers and wifi. And they charge a "transaction fee" of $11 regardless of one night or ten. Its a cool park, but not that cool. $13 a night more gets you a motel room during the week with free coffee, wifi, showers and usually swimming pool. Other camp sights are more reasonable in the region. State parks have also started charging hotel tax on camp sites. We only stay in Forest Service campsites or federal ones anymore.
