I have a Barrett 6.8 muzzle device that I don't need. However, I do need a 308 brake. Threads are 5/8-24; this is the same brake used on Barrett M468. Never installed, new in package.

Right now just looking to trade for a 308 brake, if no offers then I'll post sale price.

I was wondering that myself, but I couldn't get a 308 bullet to pass through the opening. I mic'd the brake and the opening is 0.310 so it should fit, but I figured if I couldn't get it to cleanly pass through that I should probably use the proper brake. The Barrett brake is made for a 6.8 round, not a 7.62...

I see, a quick pass with a 0.320 drill bit would make it all better.
My 6.8 brakes all seem to be made for .308 except the last one which is 0.300

That's not a bad idea... I typically don't mess with modifying firearm components, but this is an AR, they were made to modify... Alright, let's lock up the thread while I get my drill bits out...
