Headspace Definition

In firearms, headspace is a distance measured from chamber cartridge stop (the ridge that stops the forward movement of the cartridge) to the closed breech face.

Hi IheartGUNS,
Well the Head space is the Space between the Back of the Cartrige to Breach which is the back of the Bolt were the firing pin come out. It locks up the bolt to the cartrige. Each weapon has some head space.
