Barrel ?

    When looking down the barrel(pistol) from the chamber end, what is that part called where the case headspaces from?

    I was just told today,with pistols the head space is measured to were the case stops

    What Is Headspace for 9mm Luger?

    Hi IheartGUNS,
    Well the Head space is the Space between the Back of the Cartrige to Breach which is the back of the Bolt were the firing pin come out. It locks up the bolt to the cartrige. Each weapon has some head space.
