Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
The gun in the pic was apparently one of Clyde Barrow's guns.
Was hoping someone with a 520 could hold a tape measure up against their 520 to see.
I already have a 97 Winchester SBS project going (Pike Bishop's gun). Not terribly excited about an additional ~100 y/o SBS, so just wanting to find out about how long that barrel is.
Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow's Western Field Browning Model 30 Shotgun, captured after the 1933 Joplin shootout by Detective Tom De Graff. Serial #U 12034, 12 Ga., 15 1/2″ barrel with a good bore that has spots of freckling along its length. The metal has an overall mottled gray-brown patina...
13 3/4 front face of reciever to end of mag tube.
14 1/2 breach to end of tube.
15 1/2 end of mag tube to end of barrel think it 30 inch barrel.
Looks like its about 16-16 1/2 from what I can tell
