If you had to choose between a BCM BFH 16" mid length barrel and a BCM Standard 16" M4 SOCOM barrel, what would you choose and why? For the record, I am choosing between the two and will probably choose the BFH barrel but I could be persuaded differently. Which is better and why?
I just installed a Daniel Defense 16" mid length on mine. From what I've read, the mid length gas system is a better system for 14.5" and 16" barrels. The carbine length really shines when you go shorter than 14.5. I've been happy with mine, and the perceived recoil is slightly less (which also means less wear&tear on the system).
