For Sale - a used 1992 Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) Mark II Safari, in 30-06, with Leupold mount and rings on the Nikon 4-12x50mm scope. The BAR is #107NY076xx, and the scope is stamped #472158 Japan. It has a four round detachable box magazine.
This is a made in Belgium FN Herstal and assembled in Portugal. The walnut stock is in very good condition, and the bluing is mostly good but has some wear. The pictures tell the story.
This rifle is sort of new to me so I have no history or box for it. When I bought it from an NWFA member this summer I had Velzey (Copeland Gunworks) go through it and replace all the springs and buffer tab, and was lubed. This BAR shoots better then I can! It is sighted in for me, and I've run 30 rounds. It comes with a new Whelen leather sling, and gun sock. If we do a face to face transfer, I'll also give you a box of Winchester 180gr ammo. *Edit: and a trigger lock, if you need one.
