My point was that mentally disturbed people will not stop killing people if the government bans guns. They will use other means to commit their acts. Banning guns will not stop bad people from doing bad things.

I will be the first person to admit that if I truly thought banning firearms would cause world piece I would be starting the bonfires myself to burn them all. I just don't believe it at all. The strong will always prey on the weak every chance they get and guns do not cause that to happen. In fact they more often prevent it.
