THIS is something that you have GOT to see. A real craftsman hand-builds a double rifle in .22 Hornet.....a sequence on a web-site that is hypnotic to watch. :s0155:

He might not be a Cascadian, but by golly he deserves to be made an honorary citizen of Cascadia!

An acquaintance of mine over here in UK, who actually custom-builds b/a rifles for the not-so-poor and is an ex-Rigby craftsman, advised me that such a build here in UK from Churchill or Holland & Holland would easily hit $45-50K.

....and take up to four years to deliver.

Pal of mine in TX [yes, I admit to having friends in TX] will be paying him a visit soon to arrange a single-barrel [we call them a Kipplauf here in yUK] in something nice like .219DW or similar......envy is mine by the bucket.
