Alternatively, if you get the 48 as-is, I will trade an unfired 43x slide and barrel (everything) for the 48 upper, barrel (and so on internals). Each side pays to ship to the other state.

Seriously, I am game. I have the 43, and I always wanted 48 in addition to it.
However, I was able to get 43x, which I am shooting with the 43 slide.
Thus the 43x slide is virgo intacta.

Btw I may have messed up the seller and the buyer. Sorry about that.
In any case, the slide swap is a valid offer for either of you, whoever ends up in possession of the 48 after your conversation.
