Police: Nude man walks into Tempe home, chased out by homeowner

Piltz says he's still shaken up by the bizarre incident.

"My wife said, 'Ty, there's a man in the house,'" Piltz said. "I chased him out here with the gun and actually held it on him..."

His 4-year-old daughter wondered what was going on too.

"She said 'Daddy, is the monster gone? Did you take care of the monster?'" Piltz explained. "And I said, 'Yeah, daddy got rid of the bad man.'"

"You know, if he wouldn't have left, I know that I wouldn't have hesitated to shoot him," he said.

The guy must have gone over from Quartzsite. The inmates are always escaping the clothing optional area and going walkabout. Strange thrills. But I've chased off more than one there. They always have some lame excuse they think you will believe/accept rather than they were getting their jollies. Shooting is not allowed in the BLM LTVA but that doesn't mean I wouldn't.
