When I was 17, anybody that looked like this just HAD to be at least thirty-five!!!

From CBS KEYE Austin Texas:

"Teen shot while allegedly robbing couple now linked to 11 crimes throughout Austin
Police say a 17-year-old who was shot last week while allegedly trying to rob a couple at The Domain is now linked to at least 11 crimes across Austin.
Jaylyn Reed was originally linked to nine robberies over four days after he was taken into custody after being shot in North Austin.
His busy crime spree was cut short while trying to rob a couple at gunpoint in the Neiman Marcus parking lot in The Domain. The victim shot him, but he got in a Chevy Malibu and tried to get away. He didn't get far. Austin police caught up with him near The Domain and he was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. His accomplices were arrested, along with a juvenile who was also in the car, police said.
Now two more crimes have been added to the list Jaylyn Reed is implicated in -- an armed robbery Tuesday, June 7, at an apartment complex in North Austin at 8017 Gessner Drive, and moments later shooting at a pickup truck on East Anderson Lane.

Police say Reed had been released from custody back on May 27 in connection with a string of armed robberies in 2021, but cut his ankle monitor off before last week's arrest."
Good thing the Citizens were armed ! A one man(boy) crime spree stopped (temporarily) with a little lead.
Wonder if he will get released again. Parts of Texas seem more like Eastern Kalifornia sometimes >>>>>>>>>>>

Doesn't anyone pay attention when the ankle bracelet hasn't moved for more than a few hours? You would think a known criminal would have some kind of monitoring and it would raise flags. This thug should hopefully get the book tossed at him. Not only is he habitual but no way does this not cause a homicide down the line. A known felon with a gun. Wait a minute isn't that what all the feel good legis-speak is all about. Yet they continue to miss that the criminals don't care about the rules, wear this bracelet, no possession, no contact, etc...

The trick is to spend the first few weeks running circles in your living room constantly, need a lot of coffee to keep it up. After your supervising officer comes a few times to check on what kind of nonsense is going on and sees what's up, he'll right you off as just being a nut. Then you cut it, tie it to the ceiling fan with a string, and roam free once again

......or they don't care, at all.

More bad reporting. Felons can't have guns. It's the law!

17 yo can't have pistols. Again. It's the law. Being It's a law should mean breaking it has penalties. If DAs and judges were responsible for their judgments, we definitely would have a safer society and more sensible laws.

If a judge under sentenced a rapist who raped again, that judge should be sentenced to the amount of time the rapist should have got or...you know.
