I believe the current attack on the first amendment is an excellent example of how our government will go after the second amendment. The issues and solutions proposed are just the vehicles used get where the politicos want to be; in a position of greater and greater power.

In this case, class warfare has been used to get the public's support to go after corporations and overturn the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision. The end result? More power for the ruling class.

The occupy movement's chant of "we are the 99%" is designed to make people think they are victims, part of a overwhelming majority. Pure propaganda to gain public support. Truth is, they are a very small < 1% minority. Don't fall for it!

You also have to look at the timing of this attack. Is it a coincidence they should try this now? Or do they realize now is their best chance to get what they want?

In the case of the second amendment, watch for the usual propaganda used by the anti's and their political counterparts. Once they feel they have the public's support, and that can happen fast, they will go on the attack. This is how it works, folks. You can bet they are coming after us next.

What is this attack on the first amendment you're talking about? George Will's May 6th column explains the it much better than I could ever hope to: Proposal would mow down Bill of Rights

Nice try, but putting 2A in the threat title does not make this thread or the link that was posted in it 2A or firearms related.
