Acquired an old Atlas 210X ham transceiver, band reads 3.5 to 28.4.
12 to 14 volts has 120 volt power supply, mic., and short magnet antenna (car top?) plus some paper work but do not know if it is a complete manual since it is all copied reprint.
Don't know if it is something to keep for SHTF scenario or sell.
At my age, I'm downsizing and haven't much fight left anyway so likely will sell it.
It receives signals, and got a response the one time I transmitted asking for a radio test.
I don't know if the frequency is of value as emergency bands. (or modifiable) nor its wattage
Any input from knowledgeable folks on its emergency usefulness and potential value should I sell it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you kindly
Thor
