This is a really nice little scope, I just don't have any use for it anymore. Crisp but easy turrets, smooth magnification lever. I found it to be very reliable for dialing at distance. Kind of on the heavy side for a hunting rifle, but no biggie for a tactical rifle. Not sure what the difference is between generation one (this scope) and generation two.

Looking for a Glock 20 or a nice 357 revolver for trades.

Looks like they improved the turrets and upgraded the optics (without specifics) in Gen 2 according to their website:

"Built off the success of the 1st generation Ares BTR, the GEN2 is still a top-tier riflescope, without the price tag. The Ares BTR GEN2 acquires a new stainless steel turret design, just like the Midas TAC and Ares ETR lines. The new turret design features sharper, more tactile clicks. Still featuring HD glass, a new optical system provides an even brighter and clearer image throughout the magnification range. "

I haven't tried out the gen 2, but the gen 1 is definitely a nice scope for the price of admission. Usable reticle at all magnifications, reliable turrets (maybe a little too easy to turn), zero stop.
