I got a delay a few months ago picking up my tax stamp. The OSP system was down, so the clerk hit delay and moved on. Fortunately, my LGS was on top of things and just ran it again.

So if a delay or denial requires the ATF to notify the LE in the 'jurisdiction the applicant resides' DOES this mean the LE is REQUIRED to visit the applicant?

My point being is all LE NOW under the jurisdiction of the ATF?

A weeeee bit redundant in Oregon since the OSP conducts the UBC, and they even WERE required to follow up on prohibited persons attempting to purchase…. but of course that lasted all of about 2 weeks before they petered out…. probably don't have the manpower or budget resources since they have to feed the ever growing PERS monster.
